The first thing you want to do is to convince him that you’re still crucial to him. If you are asking “can I get my ex back”, then you obviously don’t want to lose him forever. He also needs to see that he doesn’t wish to lose you forever as well. This is the most effective way to determine if you have any chance or not. It may appear hard to show him this, but it is not really that hard if you know what steps to take.
