These days, online predators are all over the internet. We’ve heard a lot about ways of protecting our children from them, but have we really done anything about it?

Two of our children use the internet everyday. In this article, I’ll be sharing some rules that we use with our children, to help you protect your own children while surfing the net.

Whenever your kids add an email address, make sure to approve it first. Don’t allow them to send emails to strangers, or subscribe to emails on websites without your approval. Doing so can open the gates for junk mail to flood their inbox. The problem with this is that most junk mail can contain information that you don’t want your children gaining access to.

Mothers and fathers may marvel at the wide range of phones that are available today for their children. There are cell phones that are made with kids in mind that are totally different from regular cell phones. First of all, many kid’s phones phones are pay as you go which is a nice function that can put many dad parent’s minds at ease. This is nice if you would like your young child to have access to just the folks you choose and not have to worry about who else they are calling.

Unattended children and swimming pools don’t go together for obvious reasons. It takes a second for a child to fall in a pool, and if nobody sees it happen, the consequences don’t bear thinking about. If you have to leave a pool for even a few seconds your kids go with you, simple as that.

Not only kids drown in pools, non swimmers can find themselves in difficulty pretty quickly too. Life saving devices should always be available, and something as simple as a shepherd hook or life belt can save a life. Keep this supplies handy since you’ll never know when they might be needed.

During pregnancy, many people ask new parents a lot of questions – would you like a girl or boy? What color eyes do you hope she has? Do you think he’ll have freckles? Who are the predators? Predators are Cyber Stalkers, serial killers/rapists, rapists, paedophiles, women beaters, child abusers, thieves et cetera. Predators often have mental problems that prevent them from functioning correctly in normal society. Children with mental illnesses are often the victims of these predators, and sometimes children with mental disorders are the predators themselves. In fact, the distributor of one of the most dangerous viruses online came from an eighteen-year old from England.

Dangers mental disorders: Not everyone with a mental disorder is a danger to society. In general, predators with mental illnesses are plagued with sociopathic, psychopathic and anti-social disorders, oppositional defiance, conduct control disorders, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorders (BPD), and psychosis. While there are a few other mental disorders that present a threat to our society, this is a list of the most common potential dangers that wait on the streets and on the Internet.

Perhaps the most formidable task that parents will encounter during the course of the exercise of their duties will be providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for their entire family within the home itself. Reaching this outcome implies being able to coordinate various different things at once, and parents have to keep the different wants and needs of individual family members in mind to ensure that a good balance is maintained within the home.

Teenage driving causes huge issues for for parents globally as there are many instances of teen mishaps and fatalities on the road. The required thing here to do is to try and understand the reasons for these accidents and bring in the necessary steps to prevent such crashes in the future. The areas to focus on would be the decrease in exposure to dangerous situations, modification of risk taking behavior, and providing sufficient education to the teenager to improve their driving ability.

The amendment in law to improve the driving age from 16 to 18 years is not the solution to this challenge. This will only impact the Automobile industry and its related service sectors. It will be a big blow to manufacturers, driving teachers, gas companies, and insurance agents. There will be a severe drop in profits for the manufacturers as well as the insurance agents due to the alteration of law.
