It can be a difficult world for a teenager with all of the new experiences and decisions expected from them. Making right and wrong decisions seems easy in theory, but add peer pressure into the mix and some smart decisions are as good as gone. Mothers and fathers may marvel at the wide range of phones that are available today for their children. There are cell phones that are made with kids in mind that are totally different from regular cell phones. First of all, many kid’s phones phones are pay as you go which is a nice function that can put many dad parent’s minds at ease. Nerf isn’t in the habit of making anything other than foam dart shooting guns. The Big Bad Bow, however, is an exception. In the early days of Nerf, they also released a bow and arrow set similar (but less advanced) than this one. The Big Bad Bow shoots large foam dart arrows. It’s nice to see them bring the bow back and bring it up to date.

The size of the bow itself is over two feet tall. Because of it’s size, it works best with older children (or grown up children, A.K.A. adults). Small children may have trouble shooting it. Out of the box, there is a small amount of assembly required, although it is fairly self explanatory. It shouldn’t be difficult to put together, even for most children.

Pardon us while we climb out of this generation gap we fell into recently. It may take us a while – there’s nothing that can make you feel so old as realizing your youngest child has come to a point of mature judgment in life. Here’s how it happened to us.

A few months back he started taking guitar lessons. And to his parents’ amazement, the kid was actually good at it! What’s more, he stuck to his lessons and the accompanying practice like peanut butter to the roof of your mouth.

Most children hate cleaning their room and have closets that are a disaster. The closet becomes a place to throw clothes for these kids, rather than a place to store things. Any parent who wants to teach their children about taking care of things and keeping their room neat has a big challenge ahead of them.

Kids love sports and movies and you might be able to make some sort of a themed closet around their favorite player or movie. It won’t cost too much other than some creativity and elbow grease. If you turn your childs’ closet into a fun place, they will like opening it up and be less likely to mess it up. Kids, like adults, treat the things they value with more care and respect. If you can get them to think of their closet as being fun or cool, it might go a long way towards them keeping it cleaner.

When I heard the saying that kids don’t come with a handbook I never really understood what they meant. Then I had a baby of my own and I suddenly knew exactly what they meant. No two children are exactly the same, what works with one child won’t work with another.

As your kids grow up out of the baby stage into toddlers then the parenting issues can really start to take over your life. In comparison to dealing with a 2 year old throwing a tantrum walking up and down the living room for a couple of hours can seem like a easy time.

Summer season is over! No matter how much you may wish it’s not yet September, well, it’s here guys. It’s back to school for kids and teenagers. But no matter how much you may dread going back to classes and hurdle assignments, teachers and new and more advanced(and certainly more difficult) subjects, teens will always anticipate that first day of classes.

Kids who go to schools that don’t have prescribed uniforms are very particular about their first-day-of-school attires. It is the time of the year, besides the prom, dances, Christmas parties and other celebrated occasions, that students will get the chance to impress their friends with their vacation exploits, new interests and fashion style that they’ve acquired over the summer.
